Macbook Pro Retina Xcode



Hi guys, I'm currently on the path of learning app development with Xcode but my MacBook Pro from 2012 is making it impossible to use Xcode comfortably, I'm looking to upgrade. I'm still using pro retina 2012. Its not fast bit fine for me:) View Entire Discussion (9 Comments) More posts from the iOSProgramming community. If you run out of RAM, active paging will make your processes more disk-bound, although that's not as bad with SSD as it was with hard-disks. An iMac with 8GB that is paging a lot will be much slower than an SSD-based notebook with this.

-The Pro's CPU is significantly faster than the Air's and it is somewhat noticeable.

-I love the retina screen, but honestly speaking (as for me) no I don't mind not having the retina at all as I got the older non-retina MacBook Pro 2012 which has a beautiful screen, you just have to bear with the resolution which I got used to within sometime anyways.

-The new retina pro's are made to be so much thinner that no, comparing the retina pros to the air is almost the same. They really trimmed down the new Pro's to almost be as thin as the air.


Ssd sd card macbook pro. Also, I don't like the bezels not the MacBook Air anyways.
